Praiano sits right between Positano and Amalfi and offers sublime views of the Lattari Mountains, the Archipelago of Sirenuse (Li Galli Islands) and the Isle of Capri. Its origins date back for centuries.
Praiano’s main church, St Luke Evangelist, was built in 1588 and is characterised by majolic art, in traditional Amalfi style.
Visit the picturesque Grottos of Suppraiano and African Grotto, take a private tour by boat during the day or night and experience the whole Amalfi Coast, or just take in the Mediterranean sun on the beach or by the pool.
In Praiano’s restaurants, enjoy seafood caught that day cooked to traditional recipes, or try Amalfi’s famous Limoncello, made from the unique native lemons. Also worth sampling are fennel, laurel and mandarin liqueurs and the delicious Limoncello-flavoured babà.
